CEC's history begins in the 1960s with the establishment of Tinti srl in Castelfranco Emilia, a company dedicated to manufacturing components for the agricultural sector. 

Thanks to the quality of its products and the reliability of its services, the company has grown rapidly, becoming a strategic partner for the main companies in the area.


The year 1973 marked a turning point for the company when the Borsari family took the helm, introducing a strong entrepreneurial spirit and modernizing the organization through innovative initiatives. 

With a stronger and more professional structure, Tinti srl faced the following decades of changes and challenges with a constant focus on quality and service, distinguishing itself in an ever-evolving market.

Starting from 1998, the company expanded its range of activities, extending production to the main sectors of precision components, including hydraulics, automotive, earthmoving, agriculture, and food.
During this period, the company obtained the main industry certifications, a recognition of the quality and professionalism achieved.


In 2001, the company changed its name to CEC srl, reflecting its evolution and vision focused on growth and innovation.

In 1973, the Borsari family took over the company, bringing a strong entrepreneurial spirit and modernizing and reorganizing the company with a structured and professional operational capacity.

The company's roots date back to the early 1960s when Tinti srl was founded in Castelfranco Emilia to produce components for the agricultural sector.

Production begins to expand into all major sectors of precision components, including hydraulics, automotive, earthmoving, agriculture, and food.

During this period, the company obtained the main industry certifications, a recognition of the high quality and professionalism achieved.

In a significant move in 2007, the company relocated to a new 10,000 square meter facility in Crespellano (Bologna), expanding its operations to include pre-assemblies, complete assemblies, secondary machining, and special parts, in addition to its core precision machining services.

Merger by absorption of OFFICINA MECCANICA ELMI Srl, a company specializing in the production of brass sliders, cartridges, and valve bodies.
